As we head towards March 29th and the date the UK leaves the European Union, there is considerable uncertainty regarding how customs and trade between the EU and the UK will be affected, and whether we will leave with, or without, a Deal. As the deadline approaches we at Puckator want to reassure both our customers and our staff that whatever happens, we are fully prepared.
We are currently in the process of purchasing a warehouse in Burriana, Valencia, Spain, just south of Castellon, which will serve as our European Distribution Centre (EDC) should we leave the EU without a favourable Deal. As well as the new warehouse, we are also developing new stock and order processing systems, so that we can continue to supply the European market with minimal disruption. If we leave the EU with a trade and customs Deal in place then the EDC may not be needed, but the logistics will still be in place just in case. We have a long established Spanish Company, Puckator S.L, based in Valencia which will be there to support and develop the EDC if required.
With our own extensive preparations and those of our logistic partners, we are confident that should trade barriers arise, by supplying Europe through our Spanish EDC any resultant disruption will be kept to a minimum and we will continue to supply, without hindrance, all our customers with our extensive range of exclusively designed products.
