Please support Puckator's Managing Director Mark Howard Driving the Silk Road from China to Cornwall!

This July and August Puckators Managing Director Mark Howard is going on a big adventure!  He will be driving a BMW X3 from Xiamen, China to our head office in Liskeard, Cornwall to raise funds for Save the Children, an international charity which believes that all children around the world deserve a future.  In times of crisis Save the Children is among the first to respond, and usually the last to leave, ensuring that children are kept safe and their needs are met at times when they are most vulnerable.

The title of this epic journey is Driving the Silk Road, and Mark will travel through China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France and finally the UK.  With over 12,000 km (8,000 miles) of roads ahead of him this will not only be an opportunity to raise funds for such a worthy cause as Save the Children but will be a once in a lifetime experience.

Mark has set a target of £10,000 so please donate and support Mark and Save the Children via his Just Giving page.  You can also follow Mark via his blog and we will be bringing you regular updates and promotions along the way.  The departure date is set for the afternoon of Monday 29th July and if all goes well the trip should take roughly 27 days, barring any delays at the border crossings.

The final preparations are being put in place and after months of planning, Mark is almost ready to go.  Whatever happens along the way, it should be a journey rich in experiences and with tales to tell, while at the same time making a valuable contribution to Save the Children.
