On Friday 22nd of October staff members, their families and local businesses representatives headed to our EDC in Poland for the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting event.
Since we dispatched our first order on the 7th of September we’ve sent over 2500 boxes and pallets to customers in Europe from the EDC.
All orders from our EU language websites are now being fulfilled from the EDC and the stock feeds and due dates on these sites are showing the dedicated stock for EU customers in Poland.
On the night of the Grand Opening, those attending got to see how far the EDC warehouse and facilities are, as well as browse our product range in a temporary showroom set up in the warehouse for customers to visit that evening and over the weekend.
When everyone was assembled speeches were made by our EDC Manager Piotr Świstak and company MD Mark Howard, after which there was an official ribbon-cutting by Mark and Magda Kostjan, the 7R Leasing Director.
The party went on well into the evening with a DJ, drinks, and nibbles, with everyone celebrating the great success of the EDC. Congratulations and thanks to everyone in the UK and in Poland who have pulled together to get the EDC up and running in less than a year.
