  1. The next step in our European adventure – Polish Warehouse

As many customers will know, Puckator is a company that began life in the UK, but we have always felt we belong to Europe. From employing our first French member of staff in 2005, to creating websites in almost every European language over the following decade, to opening our first European office in Valencia in 2011 and continuing that trend with office openings in Italy, Poland, and The Netherlands over the next 9 years, we really are an example of how the EU works for business. It is now over 5 years since the UK voted to leave the EU and Brexit has become a reality, it was not something as a company we wanted, but we have tried to deal with it in the best way we can, and after a shaky start, things are now getting back too normal. Delivery times are improving, and of course all our customers In the EU are now served by our Dutch company, Puckator BV, so there are no customs formalities or taxes to deal with.

After careful consideration, we have decided it is time for the

  5. Puckator - Update

In a year where so many things seem to have been turned upside down, we’re truly thankful to our customers for their support and to the kind words of encouragement from colleagues that have made such a difference.

With retail restrictions lifting this week we know that many people will be working extremely hard to make the absolute most of these few festive weeks until December 25.  The Puckator team is also working around the clock to make sure the products you need get to you safely and on time!

Through the uncertainty and pressures of 2020 people have turned to simple pleasures – things like a walk in the sun, cooking and baking, and taking joy in nature.

Now the colder weather is here, people look to bring the natural world indoors with soothing scents, gentle, botanical prints and an emphasis on taking time to pause.

Eco products have been huge this year and our range of sustainably made and environmentally friendly products is growing month by

  8. Festive face coverings

Although social distancing regulations and restrictions change from month to month, we can be pretty sure that face coverings will be needed for some time yet. They've gradually become part of the everyday routine – and people are now using their reusable face masks and coverings to express themselves, to coordinate with an outfit or to add a touch of fun and interest, like any other accessory.

The World Health Organisation and most governments advise using face coverings to reduce transmission of Covid-19  and in many countries, they've become mandatory when shopping, travelling on public transport, socialising outside the home, and visiting any enclosed public space. According to regular Office of National Statistics surveys carried out in the UK since July, more than 9 out of 10 adults (96-98%) say that they've been wearing a face covering when leaving the house.

As well as wanting something comfortable, easily washable and quick to dry, customers are looking f

  9. Volkswagen T1 Camper

    Volkswagen T1 Camper

Grab the sunglasses and jump into the van – we're going on a road trip!

After a long time in the planning, Puckator were very happy to be able to launch our licenced VW camper range earlier this year – and now a new variety of products is hitting the road, just in time for Christmas!

Nothing speaks of summer fun and freedom quite like the VW camper. Launched in the 1950s, the VW T1 split screen gained a global following and has become part of surf and coastal culture. Travelling in a van with wild psychedelic or floral paintwork became the thing to do if you were tuning in and chilling out in the 60s.  There have been several newer versions down the years, but the original model remains the most beloved, and thousands of these vehicles have bee

  10. Tradeshows Autumn 2020 – What will happen?

As we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic has shaken the entire world. People and businesses worldwide have had to learn and grow to accommodate the 'new normal'. Because of this, we saw lots of different, exciting events get cancelled, postponed or replaced by virtual events or online marketing. A couple of areas that have been affected greatly by this change are exhibitions and trade fairs.

As a way around this, most have taken things digital! You no longer need to worry about travel and the use of public transport to arrive at your desired event, you can simply turn on your computer and access the fair from wherever you are. The question is, will we adapt to this new way of working, with the old ways seeming outdated, or will it simply go back to business as usual? Will virtual events be the new normal?

While, in most cases, the thought of catching a flight for a single meeting is probably a thing of the past and will be replaced by a quick Zoom call, the exhibitions fulfil
